When I tell you that I never eat at Hooters when home in Atlanta, I NEVER eat at Hooters, I think since the chain has been around, I've eaten at its locations less than ten times and each time its has been while out of town. During a recent four day visit to Ft Lauderdale for Yelp Spring break, I had an opportunity to visit this location twice. We ate in once, and order it to take out the second time. The "eat-in' visit was much better than the take out. The night we ate in, we were seated as soon as we walked up to the hostess stand and our server appeared at the table in less than two minutes. My traveling companion ordered a Long Island Ice Tea and I had the Patron margarita. Both were on point and I was feeling and tasting the Patron on the first sip. I ordered the blacken steak with a Cesare salad. He ordered the Philly cheese-steak with fries. There is an extra charge for the fries. The Cesare salad was just that, some lettuce with some type of dressing on it. I ate less than half of it. I say skip it, but if you're like me and need some green veggies, go with it, as they offer no other type of veggies. The steak was cooked to perfection. Can't say much about the cheese-steak cause as soon as the cheese cooled down, he woofed it down. He did mention the fries were cold. We also asked and ordered a pound of the steamed shrimp. After asking about how many were in the half pound and the one pound, we were surprised when the plate of shrimp arrived at the table and was very small compared to what we were expecting. We brought it to our server (Janecka) attention and she came back later with what had to be at least 3lbs of shrimp. We had enough shrimp to take back to the room and have shrimp omelets the next morning for breakfast. The next night, he refused to leave our room since the NBA playoffs started, so we went with what we knew was good and ordered take out. This time we went with a 20pc wing, a pound of shrimp and a grilled chicken sandwich. For a place that is infamous for its wings, neither of us were happy. Maybe its one of those things where you have to eat them while they are hot. We were charged extra for blue cheese and celery to the tune of $2.37. The shrimp was as we expected them to be, a full pound and the grilled chicken sandwich was great. The one drawback to ordering take out was waiting for the bar staff to acknowledge me. There were two people working the bar area, when I walked up a guy was standing there, credit card and receipt in hand and his facial expression told me he had been waiting to be acknowledged also. I waited patiently for about two minutes before I yelled out to one of them, hey, is this my to go order sitting here, if so, I'm here. She asked me to hold up a minute, and after helping one other person she finally came over and tallied me out. The guy was STILL standing there holding his card and receipt as I strolled back out the door. He did comment however, that he liked my style, but he's never been that type to assert himself on waitress. Across the street from the beach, but I couldn't tell if any of the seats give you a beach view, but both of my visits were after 10pm, so its probably not much of a view at that time of night anyways. Another point, and Im not sure whose to blame for this, but both nights we tipped on our card, but when the final bill went through it was for the amount of the bill only, NOT including tip. I hope no one got shorted. Especially Janecka, cause she was a gem from beginning to end. Oh yeah, they let you smoke. My traveling companion smoked almost an entire cuban cigar and no one blinked an eye. Even bought him an ashtray.

Two of us showed up Saturday evening June 20th craving wings badly. We walked up to the hostess stand were their was three younger ladies standing there. For some reason we were never acknowledged by any of the three. We finally said something after two different parties went in front of us. All three hostesses were very rude so we asked for the manager. The manager showed up acting very unprofessional and didn't seem to care so we just turned around and left and on the way out one of the hostesses said "sorry grandpa." We just ignored that very rude comment and continued to leave never to return. A very big disappointment!

Billion dollar view of the beach. Their lunch special during the week is fabulous. There are a few selections you can order for $8.99. We opted for their chicken sandwich with fries or slaw - which is consistently big (they are known for big breasts here), juicy and delicious and exactly the same from Hooters to Hooters all over the country.

A friend of mine is a Hooters girl in Maryland and loves the food so we decided to order takeout from the Beach Place location when at the beach. We didn't order in-so I can't really comment too much on the service, but the is is what we experienced. We ordered 20 boneless wings in 2 flavors. The hot wasn't hot at all-more medium. The "chipotle honey" was more of a regular barbecue flavor. Nothing special, more sweet than chipotle. the pickles and onion rings were really good so the food gets 4 stars. What annoyed me was the girl who gave us our order acted like we were a giant inconvenience to her day. She had bitch face on from the moment we asked for our order and it wasn't busy at all. It was a Tuesday. Then when we asked for napkins she audibly scoffed. I'll probably be back but I won't expect much.

Ugh....found a feather and a 2 inch long, thick, black hair in the batter of my 1st wing. I didn't have a second one or pay for it. The beer was cold & view was great

I've been to this specific hooters before while at the beach to get some wings, obviously. The wings are amazing, highly suggest the spicy garlic for a little kick. This is a great place if you're by the beach and want to have some drinks too, they have relatively good prices. The service on the other hand, not so great. It took about ten minutes for someone to seat us, yet alone recognize us. Even though all the waitresses saw us waiting, they ignored us. Until a manager realized my impatience and sat us down. Mind you, we were they only ones waiting. Other than that, good time, wings, and location.

This place was very very crowded on new years day. It was also during football game time. The food is mediocre. Had a side Caesar salad which was a decent portion. And the lots of tots appetizer. It was fried well but the sour cream should've been on the side cause it made all the tater tots soggy. The server tried to be helpful under the busy conditions. Is a good place to watch the game with some friends over beer and wings. Other than that, not worth eating at.

So on our last day of vacay we decided to eat a quick lunch here. We walked in prior to 11am (their opening time) and stood at the "please wait to be seated" sign being ignored by at least 5 waitresses within eye sight for a few minutes. After standing there like idiots, we speak up, only to be given nasty attitude by one of the girls. Per her they "open at 11" mind you it was 1105 and "they'll get to us when they're good & ready." Not only that, it was accompanied by nasty looks and poor body language. Needless to say we walked out and took our business right upstairs to Atlantic Surf which had amazing service, great food and all with a breathtaking view.

If zero stars was an option I would gladly put that. Was seated and waited about 15 minutes and had received no service. Then walked up to the hostess who was very rude and unapologetic and said someone would be with us. After waiting another 5 or so minutes and still not receiving any service we decided to sit at the bar to try and get someone to serve us. One of the bartenders finally came over to take our order, but only one of the two drinks was correct. About a half hour later of waiting for our food we finally received it only to find that the wings were incredibly dry and the chicken ranch wrap had no ranch on it and the fries were barely warm. Do not go here if you want good service, they are incredibly rude and unapologetic and my visit was unsatisfactory to say the very least.

Wings here are underrated! Excellent. Service is good. If you're coming for wings your in for a treat. Anything else and you will surely be disappointed. 4 stars for the wings alone. I would recommend breaded lemon-pepper.

I will never go back there they overcharge me and the waitress act like she didn't know what was going on

Good wings at this location but service is so so.

We used to love coming here. The thought of our table is that you don't have to be any better than you have to be.

They told our group of 8 to leave at 3pm (ie slow time) because they don't like having 8 people around a 4 high-top. They were annoyed we weren't sitting down in the barstools so we got kicked out. Womp womp..

The only reason this is getting one star is because our waitress, Valerie, was super nice and good spirited (even though she got 2 orders wrong, but it was really loud, so I can see how that would happen). Erica, the hostess, was pretty rude from the moment we came in. The way she spoke to us (the tone she took) was what I would consider unacceptable in the service industry, as someone who used to be a hostess. The food for everyone at the table (six of us) was dry or burnt. The fried pickles were inedible and had to be sent back. The only decent thing were the fries. The only reason we aren't complaining to the manager is because we don't want our waitress to get in any trouble. Lame. I usually really enjoy my experiences at Hooters. This location wasn't one of those enjoyable situations.

Chicken wings ( naked and hot ;) + Curley fries with cheese sauce!! Mmmm! Fried pickles are good too!

Great place and great service. I especially enjoyed their mozzarella sticks. I didn't order them, but the guy next to me did and they looked outstanding.

Very attractive waitresses and bartenders. The manager was down to earth. Great wings and affordable beer. Watched some March Madness here and enjoyed a cigar at one of the outdoor tables. The customers at hooters can be a little shady though. But the hooters girls...... Worth the eye candy. Just try not to be a jerk and harass them.

Was there on Thursday 8/7 in the afternoon. We had a really sweet server who will always check on us and also served our food fast. She did make a mistake and didnt get us breaded wings but she quickly fixed the problem and apologized. I felt kinda bad because I will never return food even if it was a wrong order, but I am a sucker for breaded hooters wings. Their frozen margaritas were amazing!! My friends and I will deff be back!! Oh and we had the BEST seats literally right facing the beach. Love it!!

This place stinks. The food stinks. The service is mediocre at best. Even the outfits they force the girls to wear are bad. I guess if you like wings you will be happy with them but not so much for anything else. I'd give 1 star if not for the wings.

For the longest time I always wondered why everyone loved going to Hooters so much. Sure, the women are attractive and buxom (who doesn't like buxom women?) and they flirt with you strictly because it's in their job description, but I always thought the food was garbage. Turns out I had been ordering the wings wrong this entire time, electing to get them fried instead of naked. If you're ever at Hooter's, make sure to always, always, answer 'naked' to every question.

    (4)
  • Jason M.

The staff is very nice. Cheerful and attentive. The food was ok. The curly fries were very undercooked. Also, as the guy was bringing our meal out, he dropped one of my wings. He looked at me, served my plate then picked up the wing, threw it out and never even apologized. It really annoyed me.

The staff here need to be re-trained. Or maybe the hiring manager needs to be. I supposed if I was required to wear a skimpy outfit and have drunk tourists oggle me all night, I might be a bit cranky as well ... but all of the staff here clearly wishes they were doing something else and pretty much huddle in the corners and talk to each other or their local friends with a sour puss expression. I don't expect to have a waitress fawn all over my table, but on a recent trip to Florida, we ended up here every night (don't judge ... the wings are great) and every night we had a bitchier and bitchier Hooters waitress. And I want to preface that by saying we are not the 'Hey Honey!' 'Get us some beer sexy?' 'Are those real dollface?' type of drunk guys you'd expect to see selling Samurai swords or baseball cards on QVC. We really WERE there for the wings and the Yeung Leung. I've seen the ass slapping harassing type of customer at Hooters before ... and that was not our group. ever. If you need something, the waitresses are nowhere to be found. They walk around with a puss on their face as if you are putting them out when you ask something and most of them don't exactly have the type of body you would expect from a place called HOOTERS. (eat a chicken wing every now and again girls) I realize Miami is nearby but every waitress there seems to weigh 92 lbs. Clearly the kitchen staff is in on the 'I don't give a fuck parade' because when the food comes out, its often charred to crispy in the deep fat frier and the wings are tiny, not plump and meaty. Covered in grease (not drained on a napkin first) and thrown in a bowl. This is strange because MOST Hooters restaurants I've been to ... the food is amazing, the wings are beyond amazing and the waitresses are smiley and chatty and act like they actually enjoy working there. In most places, the wings are like crack with their crispy cornmeal breading ... but I've only had 1 good batch of wings at the Ft. Lauderdale Beach location out of about 7 trips. Will be skipping this place for Lu Lu's next time. The ocean view tables are nice for people watching at both Hooters and Lu Lu's. Love that Hooters has Yueng Lueng on draft though. I am also surprised they call last call at 11:30 p.m. You'd think a bar would stay open until 2 a.m.

In for a late night snack with friends, we didn't have to wait at all to be seated. Some of them ordered the wings, which were swimming in a pool of grease - disgusting. I went with the chicken tenders. Not as bad as the wings but I've definitely had better. To drink, we ordered Blue Long Islands. They were good in taste but weak, they were missing "ingredients" these were more "mock" long islands. Service was quick and friendly - points for that - but not sure it's enough to compensate for the bad food.

Foods a bit pricey you don't get the attention you would get at a place of the beating path cause of all the people I recommend a better wing place but o well

Hey, it's a Hooter's! There is seemingly no need to explain that neither fine dinning nor cuisine is the specialty. Without making any excuses it's the display of young female eye candy that is attraction and despite all we hear from about women's lib or about sexual discrimination in the workforce, Hooter's seems to get away with it. If you're a girl but the least bit unappealing to the male eye, as in aged, overly plump or even in the slightest unattractive, forget it; and as for a male waiter, this is girl ogling crowd without the least bit of interest in even having male clean the table, so can just scratch Hooter's from your potential list of waiter employers. The place darn near gives the feeling of some sort of throwback time warp to the Playboy Club era where the girls wore those little bunny ears pretending to be as sexual active as rabbits. Anyway, yes, the girls at Hooter's are indeed easy on the eyes as well as pleasant and nice in every other way. Maybe it's the location of being on the beach, but I've found this to be one of the better of the Hooter's. For food? Well who in their right mind would go to Hooter's for food? No way! It's all greasy, all substandard and only served as an afterthought of the place. So, if you want a cute chick working for tips waiting on your table, Hooter's is for you. If you are interested in food any diner, truck stop or food cart can easily outdo Hooter's and at a more reasonable price. Maybe age, a "low count," or the fact that I'm a sort of jaded out individual but the eye candy, pleasing as it is, just doesn't make up for the lack of good food.

Great food, great view. None of the servers seemed "happy" even though the service was great and with a smile. You could just tell they weren't truly happy for some reason. The food was great, drinks were avg, coulda been stronger considering a lot of the places in the area make strong drinks. I couldn't even taste the alcohol in mine. The service could have been a bit faster, we had to wait for our check for quite a while, and that was because we had to ask for it after looking for our waitress. But, it hooters on the beach and you can't go wrong. Id go again.

I have been to many hooters and we used to come to this location but unfortunately always left unsatisfied and haven't been back for awhile. Tonight we were in the area for Mardi Gras and decided to give it one more try, one name .... JACLYN ! She by far topped off any hooters girl we've ever had from looks to service . Is her last name Kardashian ??! Whoo!! She actually looks like the tricky Hooters commercials with the pretty girls on them that you never really see working in a store . The other staff was decent looking, it looked busy but she gave us full attention . We also saw the managers around the restaurant helping out which is rare . Jaclyn suggested her preference of wings and flavors which were delicious ( honey chipotle ) . We always get breaded but she said naked is always better . We've never tried anything else but she had us mesmerized we couldn't help but trust her opinion . We tried it, we loved it and we loved her . Food was really good tonight ! We asked her about her name tag because it said promotions team . She told us all about the events and charity's Hooters does . Hooters is more then wings and orange shorts ! She was so cute and had a smile on her face the whole time . You can tell she is really dedicated to her job and genuinely wants to give everyone that " hooters experience " She is definitely an asset to Hooters and we wish her the best of luck in life and with this company . If you've ever had a bad experience at this location or any location go there and ask for Jaclyn and she will change it all . She said she works every night so she better be there next time we come or else were heading down to Lulus .

This is your typical Hooters. Don't expect much but a wing place with an ocean view. Most of the wait staff is nice and friendly. I ate at this one 3 times during my week long stay on the boulevard. I would have given them 4 stars but my last time I had the most absent minded waitress you could imagine... We'll just call her Devonne! 1. She got our order wrong. 2. She flat out told us that we were wrong. 3. When some parade came around she finished taking our order turned around leaned over the balcony watched the parade and pulled out her phone to take pictures. 4. Took forever to bring our bill. So if you want ok food and hit or miss service, come grab some wings.

  • Shermika S.

I don't know what people see in Hooters. I mean it can't be these so called famous wings because they are not tasty at all. I believe people only go there to see the female workers with the big boobs and flat backside. I never want to eat at another Hooters for the rest of my life. There are way better wing spots out there. My mild extra wet wings not tasty. The sauce seemed more oil than anything else. I also had their alcohol lemonade which our waitress said was tasty but it wasn't. It seemed more water down than anything. Plus I couldn't understand why there was an orange slice and a cherry in my lemonade. I mean I did ask for the lemonade drink right? Yea. The only good thing this place has going for itself is the nice view of the ocean and that's it.

I really am not too into Hooters since I am a girl, but went here with a friend for a quick lunch! The server was alright, but we were two girls soo...Anyways, I ordered Hot Boneless Buffalo Wings...and they were delicious! Only thing, they came with 10 pieces and they were pretty small, but still yummi!

I usually like Hooters, (no pun intended, ha!), but this location is not great. Obviously the best part is the ocean view. There are few things better than looking down at the ocean with a nice cold beer. The food here seems to always be subpar. I know I can get decent food at Hooters, (the one in Sunrise is great), but this one, not so much. It always comes out cold or under or over cooked. It's like the feel they don't need to try because of their location. The service is hit or miss, and if you sit at the few seats they have on the outside of the restaurant near the entrance, prepare to be forgotten. (But the view from those seats is pretty awesome.) I wish that they would try a little harder, but I doubt they will because they tend to always be busy based on their location despite their flaws.

With high prices at many of the beachfront restaurants and bars, Hooters has tremendous views as well as reasonable prices. They even offer lunch specials, including a huge chicken breast sandwich with fries for $6.99 M-F. And, with the second floor location, there's usually a nice breeze. The service was also good.

  • Mike B.

Very disappointing experience!!! Back home the hooters have all closed down so it's rare we get to have their wings. I ordered my usual of 10 medium breaded wings. At the time they tasted ok but we're very greasy and I did have to pat them down to soak up some of the grease. All I had were the wings and I was sick to my stomach all day and night. I had a formal dinner that evening with a delicious menu and I couldn't eat anything but tums . Not sure if it was the fact that they were too greasy or if the chicken was bad but my stomach did not agree and the drinks were warm also . Not a good experience . There are many options near by here I suggest trying other restraints first

Hanging out with 4 guys who apparently wanted "wings" left me no choice but to visit this establishment. First and foremost, Beach place seems dead at night... Unless you're at Lulu's.. Yes, still live music and drunken college students there. Anyway, back to Hooters.. The food is average at best and greasy. The girls are pretty, wear skimpy outfits, and the guys love it.

We didnt have to wait to be seated, orders came quickly and the server was friendly. They're the only reasons this wasnt a one star. I've never been a fan of Hooters food, I just feel like a greasy mess afterwards and this was no exception. Friends ordered wings and had to use a napkin a wing to soak off all the oil. Another had a chicken sanwich with so much oil that it soaked though the bun and flattened it from the weight of the grease. I had water and my water was both clear and liquid. Cant go wrong with the water. I think over all, out of the party of 7, I was the happiest with my order.

Worst hooters I have ever been to, food sucked, service sucked, my car got broken into in the parking structure... Need I say more. There was so much grease in the food it was disgusting. The tray the wings came on had a crack in it and the grease made a puddle on the table gag me. I ate one wing and it was nasty and made me sick. They seated me with my back to the computer where the girls enter the food orders. They kept bumping me and running into me but not apologizing it was terrible. I couldn't even scoot my chair in to get away from them.

Would have gave 3 stars, giving the extra ONLY because the bartender suggested the BEST wing option ever, here in ATL we have they daytona flavor wings however they dont have it in FLL so I got whichever flavor was similar, I think it was a spicy BBQ but it's not on the menu so just ask the girls when you get there, and make sure they're NAKED...the wings not the girls lol. Anyhoo, upon arrival once my friends and I actually figured out where to park to get here and made our way up the steps, we initally sat at the only open tables that were outside uncovered, but then it started raining, I'm not one to eat while being rained on (not into that R kelly thing) so we mad our way inside and lucked up on some recently vacant seats at the bar. Once seated the bartender made her way over to take our orders. She checked in with us once in a while but because we don't have third legs we didn't get the most attention which I'm ok with as long as my food is right and I have all the napkins, wipes and supplies I need to get into these wings! All in all I would come back because Hooters is Hooters and they are the best wings and they are consistent from state to state.

What can I say. This place is always busy and always has good food. The waitresses actually seem like they have fun with their job, which makes for a good atmosphere. The beach is right across the street which is awesome and you sit on a deck with an open view of the ocean.

Cold pitchers of beer to wash down mountains of spicy wings...what's not to love? Our waitress was friendly and attentive. This was the only place in Fort Lauderdale where I didn't have to wait an eternity to get my order. It's located in "The Beach Place"...definitely tourist-y and filled with beach-goers...so embrace the vibe and enjoy the ocean view. I always seem to end up here when I'm in Fort Lauderdale and it's always a good time. It seems less tacky than other Hooter's (the girls are in beachwear -- instead of the usual orange hot pants over nude panty hose).

We went to this Hooters for lunch as the initial place we wanted to try in this same plaza was overflowing with people, it was raining and this was the closest option where we could go w/out getting soaked. Obviously the primary reason most people patronize this restaurant chain is for the namesake hooters and the waitresses in their short orange shorts and Hooters logo tops. The food is usually not the main driver for coming here and while it's passable, it's definitely not memorable. Indeed, the wings are nearly always drowning in their own grease and odd, clear/orange fluid and the burgers and sandwiches are good and usually do the trick, but are definitely not outstanding. This Hooters can get a little loud as there are high ceilings with exposed beams. The large, rectangular bar is situated in the middle with high tables and stools around the outter perimeter and there's really nothing to absorb or dampen the sound and noise. The Hooters store here is a bit small and there is a small indoor seating area where you can go if you want to be in the A/C rather than out in the main restaurant/bar area which is covered, but open on the sides. There is also a wide space at one end of this restaurant which must be kept open, because it's actually one of the main walkways for people to get from one side of Beach Place where this Hooters is situated, to the other.

This place was average on nearly every account. Our service was bad, the girl just didn't seem like she even enjoyed working there. A piece of advice, mild wings at Hooters mean plain, no sauce. If you want a mild sauce you must start with the medium. After we asked about why the wings didn't have sauce the waitress remarked that "Most people don't know that the mild comes plains," which begs the question, "Why didn't you tell us?" The wings (after we got some sauce) were good and so were the fried pickles, we had a few salads and they weren't good. The sauce was thick, tomatoes not crisp or fresh and there really wasn't much of anything else in it. If you're in the mood for wings and mediocre service, this is your spot, but if you have been to a good Hooters in the past, stay away. It's also very loud because there is a Fat Tuesday's just below it.

I've never really been a huge fan of Hooter's but occassionally I find myself in one. This one was less than stellar in comparison to other locations I have visited. The staff isn't very friendly. The servers give off the vibe that you, the customer, are bothering them. A plus to this location is that you are on the beach, Fat Tuesdays is downstairs so you can eat your meal, go downstairs and get a drink and head to the beach to relax for the rest of the day. It's a good spot to go if you are looking for medicore food at the beach. There are, however, several other food options, I would suggest you check one of those out before going to Hooter's.

You don't visit Hooters for fine dining. You visit Hooters for excellent wings (seriously, they've perfected the formula) and cute girls in tight shorts and tank tops. If you disagree with that, then you live your culinary dream and we'll live ours. :P Hooters has a great sense of humour, and some excellent wings. I've had both breaded and non-breaded, and I love both. We stopped in for a pile o' wings and fries while visiting Fort Lauderdale, and sat at the bar. The place was busy! The bartender (Francesca, I think) greeted us quickly and took our drink orders. It took her a while to come back to us for our dinner order, but the bar was busy. The wings, as always, were delicious! We also ordered a side salad (HUGE) and fries. Everything was great, and we enjoyed the atmosphere of the bar despite a chilly wind blowing in (the plastic was down, but it was still windy). One word of caution: the bar allows smoking, and I ended up next to a guy who smoked a cigarette. I'm sensitive to smoke, but thankfully the breeze blew the smoke away. After we finished our meal, the Hooters girls indulged my request for a photo of them surrounding my husband. With a great sense of humour they all gathered around him for a snapshot. Thanks, Beach Place girls!

This is the worst hooters ever. It was hot humid and all around uncomfortable.. The seats suck, the waitress bump into you. The bathroom is nasty. Everything was so greasy. Our wings were in a wooden cracked tray and oil was dripping down the table. Enough oil to fry two chickens. While we were in this crap hole someone broke in our car and stole all our possessions. Between the grease and the break in we are lucky to be alive.

I was staying at Beachplace Marriott and called down to see if they had the BIG TEN network because I wanted to catch Purdue win the Big Ten regular season title. The girl who answered the phone was rude and said she didn't know. She checked and came back and said no one had ever heard of it. I know South Florida isn't Big Ten country, but come on!!!! Great location and probably good looking women.....Just a little short on intelligence I guess.

Decent service. Great views. Of the ocean! Sheesh. Get your head out of the gutter. The wings at Hooters get worse the further you get from Buffalo. This one is pretty far from Buffalo.

Extremely sticky floors, over crowded, and did not feel clean. There were a couple of very pretty, young hooter girls but they did not seem thrilled to be working on this Jet playoff game night. Took a while for waitress to acknowledge me, so I left once I put my foot back in the shoe that was stuck to the ground. On the third floor of the big complex across from the beach. not worth the escalator ride in my opinion.

This is my FAVORITE Hooters restaurant. Why? Because its at a prime location in Ft. Lauderdale, right on A1A. The food is the same, the beers are the same, the Hooters are the same. I love having wings and a nice cold one on beachfront property with a tab that is no more than $25.00!

Typical Hooters experience, but the service was worse than usual. Obviously with every Hooters there are the attractive girls and the food is decent but nothing worth coming back for. With Beach Place, the view is nice (if you can get a seat outside), but the food and drinks took forever, getting the bill took even longer and our server forgot things continuously and had no idea what was on the menu or not. Will probably come back again just due to the fact that it's a little nicer than Sonic, but I hope there is a decent place opening soon in the Beach Place complex.

Was vacationing in Miami from Chicago last week and decided to spend a day in Fort Lauderdale beach. My girlfriend and I had a couple of drinks at one of the bars and decided to move onto Hooters for an early dinner. So we ordered some curly fries, 10 Hot wings and 10 Honey Thai wings and everything was delicious! It all came out piping hot and fresh and oh so good. Service was great, she checked on us all the time making sure we had everything we need. She also looked like she enjoys working there. So it was my girlfriend's first time at a Hooters and she was hooked. So once we came back to Chicago, we decided to go to the Hooters near O'Hare airport and it pales in comparison. Wings were cold, the fries were stale and the waitress didn't even look into our eyes when she spoke. So I say for the full Hooters experience head to this one!

You sure do get a lot of food for your money here. I went here twice during my stay in Ft Lauderdale. The wings were great and so was the burger. I dislike how the burgers don't come with fries, but they are both pretty inexpensive. The monday burger special is insane: less than $6 for a burger and fries.

Service was good, but then again you are at hooters and the girls work on tips... We ordered two batches of wings and the first were cold and disgusting, when we complained our waitress brought a second batch out and they were good, but you had deffinetly had better If your looking for places to eat in fort lauderdale near the beach I don't suggest this hooters it is a franchise disaster

Not a big fan of Hooters especially after how our food was floating in grease. I ordered the Mild Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and it was okay but not the best. I was super hungry so I managed to eat a good portion of it. It came with a side of potato salad it was also not great so I gave it to my sister ha ha. For drinks I had a blue long island ice tea. It was weak but the taste wasn't too bad. It was like having juice. Service was quick and our waiter was friendly. Not sure if I'll be back anytime soon.

Service is a little on the slow side, but the location couldn't be better. They have alot of tables with views of Fort Lauderdale beach. They have alot of TV's and great wings. The servers are all very good looking. I usually go to the beach to lay out then i like to go up to hooters and cool off with a cold beer and some wings (spicy garlic is my fav sauce)

Ah Hooters. This place is great to come to because if the women that work there and the chicken wings. The location is great and you can look outside the window and see the beach and the sun. Immediately got seating which was good. The food was greasy. We got 20 buffalo wings and 10 naked for a party of 6 and all complaints of how grease there was on the chicken wings. We also asked for well done and crispy but came out chewy and soft. Bummer.

The restaurant we came to eat at was closed so we ended up at Hooters. You really can't go wrong with chicken wings and beer. This location was really crowded but we did not have to wait for very long. Our server was cute and friendly. I ordered wings and chill cheese fries, I am a bit of a chili cheese fries addict. There's is very good. The meal did it's job. For some reason their was a lot of kids at this particular Hooters, it was strange, it seemed inappropriate, but hey to each it's own. I enjoyed my dinner.

What's not to like about Hooter's especially here in Florida? The location here is ideal: Across the street from the beach with open air seating overlooking the sea from the 2nd floor of Beach Place. Great, attentive service. Beer is cold and the wings are hot. Not much for breaded wings, so ordered up the naked wings (fried in their skin - no batter) and tossed in sauce. As far as sauce temp, I opted for 1/2 'Three Mile Island' and the other half 911. My pal had the same, but down a notch or two on the heat. Wings are meaty, substantial (paid the extra for all drumettes) and spot on with the sauce. I didn't have call 911, but found them 'comfortably' warm. More celery and dip (ranch or blue) is just a request away. No smoking is the rule even at the open air patio, but at the bar, it is not enforced, so don't be surprised if folks light up.

Wings are good the ass is loose , the tits not so large , I think that's what all the men on yelp want to know , they look like there 17 the oldest , all these girls parents would be so proud this is what they spent time and money on ... But the wings were still good

    (4)
  • Carolyn P.

The staff is very nice. Cheerful and attentive. The food was ok. The curly fries were very undercooked. Also, as the guy was bringing our meal out, he dropped one of my wings. He looked at me, served my plate then picked up the wing, threw it out and never even apologized. It really annoyed me.

Bummer.

Great place and great service. I especially enjoyed their mozzarella sticks. I didn't order them, but the guy next to me did and they looked outstanding.
